Typefill Forms Privacy
Typefill Forms never sends the forms you fill anywhere.
What stays in your browser
- The forms you save, your details and your own answers. They're kept in your browser's own storage on this computer. They're never stored on a server of ours.
- What's on the pages you fill. Typefill Forms reads a page's fields only to save a form you ask it to save, or to fill one. Nothing about the page leaves your computer.
- Locked forms in the Pro vault. They're encrypted in your browser with a key made from your passphrase. The passphrase is never stored and never sent anywhere.
- Your backup file, if you make one. It goes wherever you save it.
The free version of Typefill Forms makes no network calls at all.
What Typefill Forms Pro sends
Only if you have Pro:
- Your licence key, the email you bought it with, and a random ID for this browser go to the Typefill Forms licence server, to check the licence and count how many browsers use it (up to 3). The server also keeps a name for each browser, like "Chrome on Windows", so you can tell them apart, and when each one last checked in.
- Google Sheets links you give it. When Pro reads rows from a Google Sheet, your browser fetches that sheet from Google directly. It doesn't pass through us.
That's all. No form contents, no browsing history, no analytics.
Who sees the licence details
The licence server runs on Cloudflare in the EU and US. Only Typefill Forms uses the details, only to run your licence, and they're never sold or shared. Ask and your licence details are deleted, which also ends the licence.
